SUMMARY
The City of Lakeland seeks a qualified and experienced tree trimming contractor to provide supervision, labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies to supplement the City's urban forestry program. Services include tree pruning and tree removal, as well as palm pruning and removal, within the rights-of-way of city streets, alleyways, parks, and other designated areas. Work may be performed in close proximity to energized power lines of the city's transmission and distribution system, requiring proper training and equipment for hydraulic lift bucket trucks. Each crew must consist of one crew leader and two groundsmen qualified in traffic control procedures. The submission deadline is October 15, 2026, with a question deadline of October 7, 2026.
