SUMMARY
The City of Gardner is soliciting bids for the replacement of approximately 2,200 linear feet of 16-inch diameter ductile iron water main, including valves, fittings, and appurtenances from the Crystal Lake Water Treatment Facility to the James Street water storage tanks.
Work includes installation in paved roadways and cross-country easements, temporary pavement, and the installation of 2,060 linear feet of two 3-inch PVC conduits. An Additive Alternate A covers replacing 1,850 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main on Washington Street from Favor Street to Main Street.
