The City of Alton Planning Department is seeking to retain a rotation list of qualified professional geotechnical engineering firms to provide geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and engineering, and environmental services for any and all City projects. Services include slab on grade foundation evaluation, special construction details for removal of ground or surface water, expansive clay, hydrostatic pressure, site work, retention systems, field exploration, laboratory testing, analysis and reports, and other geotechnical evaluation, along with construction materials testing such as plans review, earthwork services, density testing, post construction services, foundation inspection services, concrete services, and structural steel services. The contract term will be two years with an option to extend an additional one year, paid on a time-and-material basis. Submissions are due by October 15, 2026, no later than 3:00 PM Central Time at the Arturo Galvan Sr. Development Center in Alton, Texas.
