SUMMARY

The project generally consists of demolition, interior renovations, back rook renovation, ticket booth and front entrance, AV/IT equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and accessories, together with all labor, materials, equipment, permits, supervision, testing, and cleanup for the Tooga Theatre in Summerville, Georgia. Sealed bids for Bid Number 00026 are due by October 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Chattooga County Commissioner's Office, 10102 Commerce Street, Summerville, GA 30747. A pre-bid conference will be held on October 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Tooga Theatre, 10107 Commerce St., Summerville, GA 30747. The project is financed in whole or in part by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements, Build America Buy America Act (BABA) provisions, and federal EEO compliance. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond of 5% of the total bid amount.

REQUIRED DELIVERABLES

The contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin, to the extent required by applicable federal law and regulations. The Owner may require submission of: Current contractor’s license; Certificate of insurance; References; Similar project experience; Financial information; List of proposed subcontractors; List of major suppliers; Equipment and staffing information; Litigation history; Evidence of bonding capacity; Federal certifications; State-required affidavits and certifications; and Other information reasonably necessary to determine bidder responsibility. Failure to provide requested information may result in rejection of the bid.
