SUMMARY
The Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) requests qualifications from licensed architects and engineering professionals to provide detailed Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) for approximately 124 state-owned and leased facilities across multiple Local Education Agencies in Alabama. Assessments must cover primary facility components including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, vertical transportation, utilities, building envelopes, roofs, and ADA compliance, following ASTM E-2018-15 standards. The selected vendor must provide written and electronic reports including deferred maintenance costs, replacement costs, priority ratings, and a one-year asset management database.
