CTIO intends to enter into an operations and maintenance agreement with Amtrak to provide crews, equipment, and passenger liability coverage for the planned Denver–Fort Collins rail service. Amtrak’s role will include operating FRA-compliant trainsets and indemnifying BNSF under the existing national operating framework.
