The City of Harrington is considering a FY2022 employment and reimbursement agreement with Harrington Fire Company, Inc., under which full-time EMT-B/firefighters will be integrated into the city payroll and benefits system with defined cost-sharing for salaries, overtime, FICA, pension, and health benefits over the July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 term. The agreement will remain in effect until replaced by a subsequent agreement following future budget reviews.
