Galveston ISD is considering approval of an MOU with Groundswell for provision of a full-time Outdoor Learning Educator to support experiential outdoor education for its students, valued at up to $70,000 over two years. The partnership aims to enhance curriculum and professional development for teachers through school garden programming from August 2026 to July 2028.
