San Diego County Awards Public Safety Contract to Pala Band of Mission Indians (December 2025)

The Board will approve a three‑year revenue agreement with the Pala Band of Mission Indians to fund two Sheriff’s deputies and a patrol vehicle for law enforcement services on and around the Pala Reservation from March 31, 2021 to March 31, 2024. The Tribe will reimburse the County an estimated $586,772 annually for all actual costs.
