Pala Tribe Funds Expanded Sheriff Services Via Agreement

Supervisors authorized a three-year revenue agreement with the Pala Band of Mission Indians to fund two full-time Sheriff’s deputies and a patrol vehicle for law enforcement on and around the Pala Reservation and Casino. The Tribe will reimburse all actual costs, estimated at $586,772 annually, through March 31, 2024.
