The Village of Weston is considering a new Tourism Entity Agreement with the Wausau Central Wisconsin Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), effective January 1, 2025. The agreement outlines the allocation and use of Remitted Room Taxes for Tourism Promotion and Tourism Development in the Village. The Village will retain 30% of the room tax revenue, while 70% will go to the CVB, with portions designated for the Sports Authority Grant Account, outdoor recreational amenities, and promoting the Village.
