RHA plans to partner with the Housing Solutions Lab at the NYU Furman Center to design and rigorously evaluate a Direct Rental Assistance pilot program. The study will run as a randomized trial, measuring effectiveness and outcomes of direct cash assistance, with research continuing through 2031.
