The Brown County Highway Department will receive $2.38 million in total funding, including $1.9 million in Federal Carbon Reduction Program funds, to upgrade traffic control cabinets, signal lighting, and camera systems at urban intersections in 2026. WisDOT authorized an additional $837,294.82 in CRP funds to expand the number of intersections upgraded to about 18.
