HUD issues standard Section 8 tenancy addendum

HUD publishes the standard Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program Tenancy Addendum (form HUD-52641-A), which must be attached to leases between private owners and voucher-assisted tenant families. The addendum defines rights and obligations of owners, tenants, and PHAs, including rent rules, non-discrimination, maintenance, and Violence Against Women Act protections.
