The City of Lethbridge is considering its options as the EMS Ground Ambulance Agreement with Emergency Health Services – Alberta approaches its September 30, 2026 expiry. Council’s recommended direction is to refuse pre-commitment to additional costs and to decline extension of the current contract while keeping open the possibility of further negotiations or an RFP process.
