SUMMARY
The Township of Maplewood is requesting proposals to implement a lead-based paint hazard inspection program in compliance with P.L. 2021, Chapter 182 and N.J.A.C. 5:28A. Services include on-site surface-by-surface and room-by-room lead inspections of interior and exterior areas using visual inspection and dust wipe analysis for single-family, two-family, and multiple rental dwellings. Inspections are required every three years or upon tenant turnover for properties without valid lead-safe or lead-free certification. The vendor will also manage notice, record keeping, and reporting requirements. Proposals are due by 10:00 AM on March 13, 2024, at the Township Clerk's Office.
