SUMMARY
The Town of Newton is soliciting sealed bids for the rehabilitation of the Newton Roller Hockey Rink. The scope of work includes the removal of 520 linear feet of fencing, installation of 260 linear feet of 6' chain link fence and 260 linear feet of 8' chain link fence, structure demolition, and repair of electrical wiring/conduits. Additional requirements include the installation of 64 units of 1/4" HDPE side boards, 505 linear feet of HDPE bottom kick boards, and painting of the structure. Bids are due by September 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Newton Municipal Building. Bidders must provide a bid bond or certified check for 10% of the bid amount (not to exceed $20,000) and comply with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law and the Public Works Contractor Registration Act.
