SUMMARY

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is seeking bids for the purchase and delivery of 8,800 Channel Catfish (14-18 inches) for stocking in 17 Connecticut lakes and ponds. Fish must average 16 inches and 1.25 lb., with no individuals under 13 inches. Only pure Channel Catfish are acceptable; Blue Catfish or hybrids are not permitted. Up to 30% albino Channel Catfish may be included. Submission deadline is September 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT.
