SUMMARY
The Sanford Airport Authority seeks bids for Baggage Handling System (BHS) preventive maintenance services, repairs, and inspections, including Baggage Carousels (Claim Devices) and Make-Up Units (MU) equipment at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). Contractors must hold State of Florida licenses as a Certified Mechanical Contractor (CMC) and Certified Electrical Contractor (EC) with a minimum of five (5) years of recent, consecutive experience on comparable airport BHS systems, and maintain an office within fifty (50) miles of SFB with a response time within 4 to 8 hours. The initial contract term is three (3) years with two (2) additional one (1) year renewal options, including labor, equipment, licensing, materials including oil and grease, tools, and travel. Bids are due by July 18, 2025, with a non-mandatory pre-solicitation conference and optional site tour available.
