SUMMARY
NJ TRANSIT seeks a comprehensive market segmentation study to identify discrete personas of riders and non-riders to develop new products, services, and marketing campaigns to drive ridership and revenue. The study will cover the NJ TRANSIT service area (NJ, Eastern PA, and Greater NY City) and identify drivers of choice in public transportation. A minimum of 1,500 riders and 1,500 non-riders will be surveyed using online and offline methods. Tasks include need/attitude/behavioral identification, survey formulation/testing, fielding, data analysis, segmentation modeling, model testing, presentation, typing tool delivery, and a final report.
