Martin County is soliciting bids from licensed Contractors to dredge up to 650,000 cubic yards of sediment from the Sailfish Point Marina Channel, Federal Navigation Channel, Transition Area, and Impoundment Basin, with placement as beach and dune fill along approximately 3,900 feet of Atlantic Ocean shoreline at Bathtub Reef Beach Park and Sailfish Point and 8,000 feet of Atlantic Ocean shoreline at St. Lucie Inlet State Park. Work includes turbidity and vibration monitoring, beach tilling, and related work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Beach fill placement may commence on or after January 2, 2027. All beach fill construction must be completed and all equipment removed from the beach by 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2027.
