SUMMARY
The City of San Benito is seeking proposals from qualified Retail Electric Providers (REPs) for electric service to meet the electricity requirements of all of its accounts. The service shall begin on the first meter reading on or after December 1, 2019. The City of San Benito has approximately 150 Electric Service Identifiers (ESI IDs) with an annual usage of 10,012,611KWh / 10,013MWh.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Financial Robustness and Experience (20%), Customer Care (20%), Pricing (60%). The City of San Benito will also assess level of experience in retailing electricity sales, capabilities relating to management of operations, pricing flexibility, and approach to customer care.
REQUIRED DELIVERABLES
Proposals, including a short description of the REP's corporate entity, ownership structure, financial statements, existing electric capacity, information on meters served, statement agreeing to contract terms, plan for ESI ID switching, sample invoice, reference list, plan for delivery services, certification number, electric contract copy, statement of non-debarment, Texas Ethics Commission forms (1295, CIQ), and non-collusion affidavit.
