SUMMARY
The City of Meriden is soliciting proposals for limited scope weatherization improvements to the Meriden Public Library located at 105 Miller Street. The project aims to address water penetration through exterior building roof assemblies, specifically involving the repair or replacement of deteriorated weather sealants at vents, grilles, louvers, parapets, facias, curbs, and expansion joints. The existing roof is a Firestone Platinum EPDM system installed in 2022 under a 30-year warranty; therefore, the roofing contractor must be a Firestone designated and trained system installer. Work includes installing new EPDM membrane and flashings compatible with the warrantied system.
