REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO FURNISH CONSULTING SERVICES TO ASSIST THE CAMERON COUNTY HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT AND COMMISSIONERS COURT IN THE PREPARATION AND ADMINISTRATION OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE EVALUATION OF AND RECOMMENDATIONS PERTAINING TO THE DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION, AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE CAMERON COUNTY SELF-FUNDED EMPLOYEE HEALTH CARE PLAN (“THE PLAN”), INCLUDING RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE FUNDING, STOP LOSS, AGGREGATE STOP LOSS, PREFERRED PROVIDERS, THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATION SERVICES, AS WELL AS THE COUNTY'S EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, CAFETERIA PLAN, VOLUNTARY DENTAL AND VISION INSURANCE PLANS AND ANCILLARY PRODUCTS/SERVICES.

Cameron County is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to assist in the preparation and administration of a request for proposals for the evaluation, design, implementation, and administration of its self-funded employee health care plan. This includes recommendations on funding, stop loss, preferred providers, third-party administration, and various other employee benefit plans.

Weighted Quantitative Scoring (0-4 scale), Proposer's total proposed price, Proposer's scope of work, Quality of response to scope of project, Plan and milestones for completion of project, Proposer's experience, Proposer's capacity to perform, Proposer's references.

Consulting services for the preparation and administration of RFPs for the evaluation, design, implementation, and administration of the Cameron County Self-Funded Employee Health Care Plan.
