Within the Courtright WWTP expansion validation report, St. Clair Township identifies the need to construct three new forcemains to accommodate future industrial users, including Crown Royal Distillery and a battery plant, as part of the headworks and influent works. The design also includes a new influent mixing chamber at the headworks to blend municipal flows from Corunna and Courtright pumping stations with pretreated industrial wastewater from existing and future industries.While the main design‑builder for the plant expansion (NAC/WSP) is set, the future industrial connections, pretreatment expectations, control/monitoring, and potentially off‑site forcemain routing, easements, and pumping infrastructure will require further detailed planning, coordination with private proponents, and possibly separate works. This opens opportunities for industrial wastewater and conveyance design, pretreatment system vendors, flow monitoring and control, and easement/acquisition support as these industrial projects advance toward connecting to the expanded plant.

Design includes an influent mixing chamber and three industrial forcemains; pretreatment obligations and of-site works will likely be partly the responsibility of the industrial proponents but coordinated with Township requirements and WWTP capacity constraints.
