The Centralina Workforce Development Consortium, comprising Anson, Cabarrus, Iredell, Lincoln, Rowan, Stanly and Union counties, is renewing its annual agreement with Centralina Regional Council for professional services to administer the Centralina Workforce Development Board and its federally funded programs. Under the agreement effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, Centralina will provide administration, HR, IT, communications, and full financial services for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and National Dislocated Worker Grant (NDWG) programs. This is a continuation of a decades‑long arrangement that establishes Centralina as the administrative and fiscal agent for the local workforce area, with costs covered by WIOA/NDWG funds budgeted in the FY26‑27 Centralina budget.For workforce vendors and training providers, the agreement confirms Centralina’s ongoing role and funding stream for managing WIOA programs, which informs who to approach for future procurements, partnerships, and subrecipient contracts as WIOA and NDWG projects are designed and rebid.

Centralina acts as administrative and fiscal agent; Consortium counties remain ultimately liable for WIOA/NDWG funds; subrecipient service providers are not listed in this document.
