The stated goal is to increase the likelihood that rural Minnesotans receive timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment for serious or complex conditions regardless of geography. Fairview expresses willingness to provide an initial 10,000,000 dollars to fund this project, subject to collaborative development, identification of ongoing funding, and approval by Fairview, the University, and UMP.This is currently a concept-stage effort without defined model or delivery mechanisms, creating a strong opening for vendors in telehealth, remote diagnostics, care coordination platforms, analytics, and rural workforce/education solutions to help shape the program’s design and technology stack to meet statewide access and research goals.
