Greene Ends Longstanding Water-Sewer Agreements with RSA

Greene County maintained a long-term set of ownership, management, and fee-collection agreements with the Rapidan Service Authority for local water and sewer systems, including operation of treatment facilities and collection of availability and facility fees. These contracts were amended over time and ultimately terminated when the County withdrew from RSA and assumed direct control of its water and sewer systems in 2023.
