City Seeks to Extend Tax Credit for ThyssenKrupp

The City of Hamilton’s Economic Development Department recommends amending its Local Job Creation Tax Credit Agreement with ThyssenKrupp Bilstein of America to extend the 75% income tax credit term from eight to ten years. The amendment supports a project with 57 new jobs, retention of 661 jobs, and approximately $28.1 million in investment, primarily for new equipment at the existing Hamilton facility.
