Roanoke County Public Schools plans to surplus approximately 9,000 retired technology devices through state contract vendor PowerHouse Recycling, which will provide certified data destruction and environmentally friendly disposal while returning residual value to the division. Surplus proceeds have been programmed into the FY26 technology replacement budget.
