Either party may opt out effective the next school year with written notice by December 1 of the preceding school year; if District 122 opts out, it must pay an early termination or cancellation fee covering costs from bus reductions. District 122 must notify District 843 by December 1, 2027 whether it intends to continue services beyond June 30, 2028, with any extension subject to mutually agreed written terms.
