The Council is considering a resolution to allow the Metropolitan Government to enter agreements with private entities for license plate reader surveillance technology and installation within the public right-of-way, following an RFQ process for multiple LPR solutions. These agreements would support a six-month MNPD pilot prior to any full implementation.
