MID Approves Water Delivery Settlement with USFWS

The Merced Irrigation District Board approved execution of a Memorandum of Understanding and Settlement Agreement with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to govern water deliveries to the Merced National Wildlife Refuge under the future FERC New License. The agreement replaces a 1993 settlement and is designed to flexibly address changing conditions while protecting both parties’ interests.
