James City County staff recommended that the Board of Supervisors authorize a new cable television franchise agreement with Verizon Virginia LLC. The proposed nonexclusive agreement would allow Verizon to provide cable service in its service area for five years, with an optional five-year extension, and requires service to eligible public facilities and three PEG channels.
