Jackson County, Hoschton finalize impact fee agreement

Jackson County Board of Commissioners entered into an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Hoschton under which the City will levy Jackson County impact fees on building permits within a designated development area and ensure payment before permits are issued. Jackson County will manage collection, recordkeeping, reporting, and appeals related to those impact fees in compliance with the Georgia Development Impact Fee Act.
