The Town’s agreement states that it does not automatically renew or extend; any renewal or extension requires mutual written agreement and Town Council approval. However, Trane’s attached Scheduled Service Agreement provides for automatic successive five-year renewal terms after September 30, 2031, unless canceled before expiration, creating a conflict that is controlled by the Town agreement. Either party may terminate the Town agreement with 30 days’ written notice.
