The Grand Junction Housing Authority Board authorized staff to begin negotiations with MGL Partners to form a limited partnership to develop a portion of the Salt Flats property as 100% affordable housing. The project will utilize 4% tax credits with an anticipated Summer 2028 delivery and GJHA serving as a Special Limited Partner. Detailed funding structure and any GJHA or City gap funding are still under discussion.
