University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Cultural Resource Management (UWM-CRM) was hired by the City of Wisconsin Rapids to conduct an intensive architectural and historical survey, funded by the Wisconsin Historical Society. The survey identified 350 properties, including three proposed historic districts and 23 individual resources potentially eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
