MDARD staff are recommending that the Commission approve an amendment to La Colombe's previously approved Food and Agriculture Investment Fund grant agreement to change the project location to Norton Shores. The revised project focuses on expanding production capacity for multi-serve and canned ready-to-drink coffee, with more than $21 million in capital investment and increased Michigan milk usage projected.
