Murray County is asked to approve a 2026 Joint Powers Agreement with Lincoln Pipestone Rural Water System to support issuance of $9.8 million in general obligation bonds as part of a $26.18 million, three-year water system construction project. The agreement obligates Murray County, along with nine other counties, to back the bonds proportionally if LPRW were ever to default.
