The Village of Palmyra affirmed its existing wastewater and sewer services agreements with the Wayne County Water and Sewer Authority while approving a new 3% administrative fee on unpaid sewer invoices that are relevied onto property taxes. The fee, projected at under $1,000 based on current draft figures, will compensate the Village for staff time processing relevies under the Operation and Maintenance and Lease Agreements executed in December 2024.
