Tiburon and CAL FIRE Agreement for Wildland Protection

The Town of Tiburon and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) have entered into a cooperative agreement for wildland fire protection within the Local Responsibility Area. The agreement, effective from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027, has a maximum amount of $83,702.31. The local agency is responsible for the protection of life, property, and wildland areas and will pay the state $55.58 per acre for providing said protection.
