Summerville is considering a mutual aid and law enforcement support agreement with the City of North Myrtle Beach for Bike Week 2026, under which Summerville officers would assist with patrol and crowd control. North Myrtle Beach would provide per diem, lodging, and salary reimbursement for participating officers from May 22–25, 2026.
