The Columbia County Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution 2026R-32 renewing the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for Med-Trans Corporation to operate a TraumaOne air medical helicopter based in the county. The two-year certificate allows Med-Trans to continue providing rotor-wing advanced life support transport in coordination with UF Health Jacksonville.
