Council Grant to Downtown Berkeley Association Outreach Role

The Berkeley City Council is asked to authorize Councilmembers to grant up to $500 each from their D13 discretionary office budgets to the Downtown Berkeley Association to help fund the Social Service Outreach Coordinator position in FY2027. This grant will close a remaining funding gap in the City’s long-standing co-funding partnership with the association for homelessness outreach services downtown.
