Mexico to receive $65M grant from US for water projects

Description
The United States and Mexico entered into Minute 330 to the 1944 U.S. - Mexico Water Treaty in April 2024. This agreement includes a commitment from Mexico to generate 400,000 acre-feet of water through conservation projects through 2026, 250,000 acre-feet of water will benefit the Colorado River System, and Mexico will receive $65 million from the United States to help fund that conservation effort.
