McGill to work on Lenoir wastewater plant

Description
The City of Lenoir is set to undertake improvements to the Lower Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Process Basin. McGill Associates was chosen to provide engineering services and will apply for state funding to complete this project. This funding application for this project was determined eligible to receive a Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loan in the amount of $5,600,000 at an interest rate of 2.62% for a period of 20 years. A loan fee of 2% will be required by the City after bids have been received.
