City Grants Easement to SCE for EV Chargers

Description
The City of Industry is approving a Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison to support installation and long-term maintenance of EV charging infrastructure at City Hall. Under the participation program, SCE will construct and maintain electrical and communication systems to power thirteen EV chargers with a minimum 10-year operating period from the in-service date.

For the life of the EV chargers; easement may not be terminated for 10 years from the In-Service Date except upon termination of the Charge Ready Participation Agreement
Renewal Info
Easement remains in effect for the life of the EV chargers; Grantor may request relocation at its sole cost to a new easement area, after which SCE will quitclaim the original easement. Grantor may terminate the easement after removal of the charging stations with 60 days written notice, but chargers may not be removed for ten years from the In-Service Date except in connection with termination of the Charge Ready Participation Agreement.
