Jackson Health System Awards $383,837 Analyzer And Consumables Contract to DIASORIN (August 2022)

Jackson Health System Pathology Division is requesting a contract award for a system-wide contract with Diasorin for the provision of LIAISON® Analyzer, reagents, and consumables to JHS' JMMC, JNMC, JSMC, JWMC and its Clinics. Through negotiations by Procurement, a $206,482 cost avoidance was achieved against the supply cost for this procurement. In addition, it is estimated that further cost avoidance of $327,000 over the five-year period would be realized from the acquisition of the new instrument allowing 4 in-source tests (currently sent out to a reference lab) and 2 automated in-house tests, thus reducing the current annual cost of this testing from $137,708 to $72,297 over the new five-year term.
