A Montana school district will enter into a participation agreement with the Board of Trustees of the Bridged Health Alliance Trust to obtain self-insured health insurance and ancillary benefits for its employees. The agreement sets contribution rates, funding models, assessment and surplus rules, and withdrawal conditions under a statewide multidistrict insurance trust. Effectiveness depends on state auditor approval and sufficient district participation.
